Creating music, writing songs, trying to listen to what
the song wants/needs (e.g. if I feel that a song doesn't
need a guitar solo, I won't play any. Period.), my lyrics
are very important to me...

Milan Polak - Dreamscapes
Instrumental album with strong focus on song writing.
Apart from the technical aspect the lead guitar functions
more like a singer, many times playing vocal-like lines.
Milan Polak - Guitar Odyssey
A re-mastered version of my very first instrumental album
"Guitar 2001" feat. a bonus track (re-mastered version of
a song I recorded for a Varney compilation). This one is
more over-the-top displaying various different kinds of
styles (from rock to fusion to metal to bossa nova).
Milan Polak - Straight
My first vocal record feat. Randy Coven (bass) & John
Macaluso (drums) as well as me on vocals. The whole
concept (if you want to call it that way) was to make a
clear statement that I wanted to get away from the
instrumental, guitar hero stuff. The mix is very raw (kind
of like old AC/DC records where you have the feeling
you're in the same room with the guys), everything
stripped down including myself naked with just a guitar on
the front cover. Thus the name "straight".
Milan Polak - Murphy's Law
My 2nd vocal album, less bluesy, more heavy & modern
sounding with loops, a little bit proggy in places and
experimenting with some oriental sounds as well.
