I play melodic hard rock instrumentals with a dash off metal
and the odd emotive ballad. My tunes are concise and to the
point. If you like 80's style guitar albums then I may be
right up your street. I love to shred but I have a keen ear
for melody and hopefully my music reflects this.

Edward Box - Plectrumhead
Plectrumhead was written over the course of two years but
was recorded very efficiently in 2002. My main aim with it
was to make an album that didn't outstay its welcome and I
tried to get all my best lead ideas on to it.

The 2006 follow up Moonfudge had a bigger emphasis on
riffs and grooves and is a little bluesier in places but
it also has some of my heaviest tracks. Both albums last
just over 40 minutes and hopefully avoid being too
indulgent!

I am currently writing the third album with my band Vendetta.
We should be heading into the studio early next year to lay
it down.

The 90's was a fallow time for guitarists who could really
play. It's great that the worm has turned and virtuoso
guitar is back on the agenda. We need to keep this
resurrection going so say no to a grunge renaissance!
